Meridian Fight Hunger 5K
For the past six years, The Meridian Company has sponsored the Fight Hunger 5K. We believe in the importance of giving back to the community that we live and work in and this friendly walk/run is one of our favorite ways to do it. This year, all proceeds from the 5K will go to local charities, Volunteers of America Lansing and Wigs 4 Kids.
Join us at the Meridian Township Offices at 5151 Marsh Road in Okemos, MI at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 14th. The course begins on Central Park Drive and follows the paved pathways through Central and Nancy Moore Parks and on into the Nemoke Trail, before ending back at the township offices.
Awards will be given to the top 3 overall times, while medals will be given to the top 3 placers in each age group.
The entry fee is $20 if you register before 7/13/13 and is $25 if you register on race day. Runners who register before 7/13 will be guaranteed a free Swag Bag. Visit www.runningfoundation.com to register online. Make checks payable to and mail to:
